Hello from a very remote farmhouse near the sea with VERY intermittent, often non existent wifi and absolutely NO phone reception…surrounded by squawking geese, ducks, hens and flaming’ cockerels! Who ever said the countryside was a peaceful place?! At least the landscape is spectacular – when the sun shines. Unlike you on Saturday, Devon has been shrouded in cloud, rain and mist so no wonder I ended up at the cinema watching the new biopic of Hank Williams starring that bloke off “The Night Manager”. I got confused as I thought I was going to see a film about the life of hank Marvin!
Any road up I start reading the news on Radio Devon on Monday from 1pm every day next week. I did a few this week which went ok so thanks for the positive vibes. It seems weird being cut off and the fact that the first week went so quickly and that the smoke alarm has fallen off the ceiling in the tiny cottage I’m staying in. But then life wouldn’t be normal if things happened conventionally would it?
Talking of which, who’d ever have thought that we’d lose yet another inspirational character this week? At just 58, astrologer Jonathan Cainer brought a lot of hope and support to many people. His knowledge of his craft made him an exceptionally motivational and inspired person. You may remember he once appeared on our Sunday afternoon together and the phones went into meltdown. God rest him; another sad loss in this watershed year.
Have a fabulous week and as always enjoy our chill out together. I’ll leave you with some of the final words from Jonathan before his passing on Monday. How prophetic and how meaningful….
“We’re not here for long. So make the most of every moment. We forget this so often, and get caught up in missions, and desires. We think we have forever and a day. In one way, we may be right — for are we not eternal spirits, temporarily residing in finite physical form?’

Thank you for a lovely MMM. I have listened to this each day as it’s so relaxing. Lovely to hear your voice on radio Devon.
