You know when you listen to a track that just resonates? Such is the one below for me. The track SEDNA is the Mellow Moment of the week but the whole album – which has only just been released by the very talented Benn Jordan – is available to listen to. It doesn’t last long at all but it takes you to another dimension.
The picture this week is of sunset near to my farm cottage at Wembury Point in deepest Devon. A month completed of my 3 month sojourn, I was visited this week by 2 friends who I’ve known since the age of 4 when we met at primary school ironically by the model of a farmyard. Although they berated the wake up call from the numerous cockerels at 0430, it was good to breathe in the country air, put the world to rights over a few ales and enjoy walks through magnificent scenery.
This coming week please join me if you can on Radio 2 on Monday from 2 until 10pm. In the meantime have a relaxing, peaceful week ahead and may you dodge the thunderstorms, many of which I encountered on the 3 hour drive back home on Friday night.
