The Summer Solstice beckons and with it the promise of some warmer weather by the end of the week.
In the build up to it, what a momentous week we’ve had with many news events that have kept us shocked, thrilled or empowered. The devastating news about Jo Cox shocked us all but the arrival of Tim Peake returning to earth with a bump excited so many, especially the millions of schoolchildren he inspired. A future generation empowered. He achieved so much during those 6 months above us and now he’s suffering from dizziness and vertigo. The roller coaster of life.
For me this week my car blowing up was probably the low point, yet the offer of a contract extension in Devon and the offer of a programme to present had me thrilled again. I’ll let you know the date when we can all be together again very soon!
Whatever the coming week has in store for you, I hope it has more thrills and empowerments than low points. This chill out track – as we all hold hands as ever – should set us up nicely so that we focus on the first two and hopefully forbid the latter from darkening our doors. Have a great one x
