It’s quite amazing isn’t it how much can happen in-between our weekly chill out time together. In the last few days there have not only been huge political fallouts from last week’s referendum but we’ve lost yet another of our talented artists – Caroline Ahern at the young age of 52.
Meanwhile we remembered those brave souls who at ridiculously young ages – many saying they were older than they were so they could fight for their country and alongside their friends – laid down their lives 100 years ago at the Battle of the Somme….
The memories we’ve heard have been so moving and indescribably sad. Those people did it so we could be free and enjoy the life we have. It reminds us to enjoy every second of every minute of every day. To enjoy the rays of the summer sun, the drops of refreshing rain, the birds in the air and the animals in our fields and forests. When we do that everything falls into place. We gain a perspective that shows that life is precious, beautiful and something we must be thankful for at every moment. Thanks to those generous and selfless souls we have a future.
Let’s live our lives then in the coming week with great gusto, with love, patience, kindness and appreciation. Make those selfless soldiers proud and let us live lives with so much generosity of spirit that they can feel that they did not give their lives in vain.

A lovely chill out ahead of my busy week, thanks Mike.
