We’re only a few weeks in to a brand new year but already there have been momentous changes on the world stage. Here, we continue through the week to support each other, sharing stories, recipes, bargains and fun. Only this week we’ve had warm banana cake in abundance, found out how to get £50 facials for free and get £10 off at Amazon in a snap, get-it-while-you-can Bargain of the Week! You’ve gotta be in it to win it….
This coming week, the new moon on Thursday heralds the beginning of the Chinese New Year of the Rooster. It is the time of the ‘quickening’ the return of life from the dark winter. A time to apply the wisdom we have gained, stand up for our individuality and start to step forward, back into the world, in our own unique way.
In a break with tradition this week isn’t such a “mellow” moment as a “mad moment” which is an upbeat, crazy yet still mellow track which fits in nicely to the crisp, sunny days and frosty, starlit nights we’re enjoying this weekend. With all the events happening around us at what seems like breakneck speed, it’s a moment of ‘mellow madness’ to help us go with the flow and rise above any negativity or fear mongering.
