6 years on from the end of our regular Sunday meet ups on my weekly BBC radio show, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge. The world has changed in so many ways; echoed in such films as ‘T2: Trainspotting’. True, our characters were still up to their usual shenanigans but they’re more worldly wise, rather weathered to the battering of time and more aware of their mortality. A bit like us really. The words of author Audrey Farrell come to mind:
“Learn from the past, live in the present, plan for the future.”
Maybe that could be our motto for the coming week? To help us on our way, what could be better than a perfect chill out from one of my favourite artists who wrote the last ever tune that I played on air – taken from the film I’ve just mentioned?
Feet up? Eyes closed? Perfect. Time to chill…..
A lovely MMM, which I have listened to a few times already.
