This week we’ve had the Spring Equinox and today marks the start of British Summertime as the clocks go forward one hour. How quickly the planet spins, how fast our days and nights skip by.
Thanks for everyone who kept me company on Radio 2 and Classic FM this week. It was amazing to hear that Sara Cox attracted Comic Relief donations of over £1 million while I was reading her news. I’ll be on Classic again today (Sunday) and next Saturday from 1-5pm. Must just remember to adjust the clocks!
I was delighted this week to be offered a 6 month full time contract with the BBC’s World Service. They want me to launch a new business programme for the USA. So what with that, Radio 2, Classic, etc I may not be around on here as much as I’d like.
So as we head into warmer and sunnier months (fingers crossed) I hope that we can all get out into the fresh air, explore this beautiful planet and make a real difference to the people we meet. Slowly but surely we’re all making the difference that’s needed and despite horrific events that occur as in Westminster this week we must remember not to allow fear one second of our time. By not allowing fear one second of our time, not one breath of oxygen we can turn negative situations into positive, dark into light. In other words, as an inspirational man once wrote….
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.
